Description: We invite you to join Indian Country ECHO for a Grand Rounds focused on effectively integrating HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) services in Indian Health Service, Tribal and Urban Indian (I/T/U) primary care clinics. In this series of presentations, Dr. Jonathan Iralu, Chief Clinical Consultant for Infectious Diseases at IHS and seasoned physician at Gallup Indian Medical Center, offers advice on screening patients for HIV, having critical conversations, and establishing swift care in primary care for those that test positive. Dr. Iralu shares valuable goals for your first visit, what to include as part of the history, physical exam, labs and studies to order, when to start treatment, medication options, and recommendations for holistic care. The one-hour Grand Rounds session includes an opportunity to engage in a didactic presentation, gain insight on how I/T/U facilities may effectively integrate HIV services, become part of a learning community and join an Infectious Disease ECHO program.  Â
